Renaissance Literature
Interests:
I am interested in drama, authorship, genre, Shakespeare, Gascoigne, cognitive theory, social distinction, acting technique in pedagogy, and especially English Renaissance satire, which is the focus of my dissertation. I took my B.A. in theater studies at Yale and earned my M.A. in English here at the University of Connecticut. I'm active in the English Graduate Student Association and I help organize the UConn Renaissance Seminar. My non-academic interests include the Mets and postmodern clowning.
