Specialization:
Renaissance Religious Literature
Academic Interests:
I am particularly interested in religious literature and the intersections of theology and poetics during and immediately following the Reformation. Other academic interests include science/technology and literature, popular/genre literature (especially science fiction), theories of adaptation, pedagogy, and the relationship between technology and writing. I earned my BA in English at Biola University, with a minor in religious studies, and my MA here at UConn.
Non-Academic Interests:
Ultimate frisbee, Softball, Cooking, Sudoku, and sci-fi television shows.
I am also an active member of the Graduate Student Christian Fellowship.
